Gravity, acceleration load - transport loading simulation

Hi there!

To start with a note - I am a long term user (over 25 years) of various CAD, parametric modeling and FEA software.

Started using Fusion 360 couple of months ago and I am impressed with features for the price of the package (certainly not the best in any category, but by far, far the best for the price and features contained - I have come across).

I am in analysing an item (large tank) for transport and have the need for application of acceleration load in other than just "gravity" direction. In fact, I need to analyse my item in combination with gravity.

Seems that Fusion only has a single acceleration load - gravity, which you can change in direction, but can't have multiples off. I could vector-sum the gravity (and will, as this is the only option taht comes to mind) and my acceleration transport load, but this is far from elegant.

Anyone has any other idea?

And, I ask the forum if the opinions are that Fusion should intoduce acceleration loan in the spectar of static linear loading options?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Sounds like you're first sims are definitely not at the "shallow end of the pool" stuff.

I'm pretty sure you can add multiple loads.  I had just completed a series of drop tests with an assigned velocity and gravity.  I "tacked on" a rotational velocity and it was okay with the new velocity assignment.

Check it out.  Let me know if I can help.
