Gesture control stopped working on reinstall

Hello,

I've been working with Fusion 360 for a few months for both CAD and CAM and been generally very happy. However, I recently had to format my macbook pro, and reinstalled the Fusion app and now track pad gestures aren't workin - two fingers just zoom in and out, pan or rotate don't work at all. They work just fine when using a mouse. Anyone have a solution for this?

Cheers

Alon

Hi,

Welcome to the Fusion forum.

Yes this is a long known problem with only a recent fix. In fact, I will be testing the fix for this today and it's expected to be released in the next update, unless I and the team find any unexpected problems that would block it. After the next update please give us your opinion!

The problem is that the trackpad starts to send it's events to nowhere. It loses focus on Fusion. Clicking in the design window, using the view cube, etc. tends to bring back focus. Also, do not have other applications such as Chrome running 'behind' Fusion on your monitor.

Here are a few posts that describe it:

But first, you should check if you have gesture control enabled in the Preferences:
