Generative Design: How do I define a constraint in a specific direction?

I have a generative design setup where I need to set up a constraint that limits motion in one specific direction. I am trying to generate a brake pedal arm and I am having trouble defining constraints. I have attached a couple screenshots to help visualize what kind of constraint I need.

I currently have the small bottom hole as a pinned constraint, but I am not sure how to constrain the large top hole for the brake cylinders. How do I define a constraint that prevents motion in one specific direction? The brake cylinders would provide a reaction force only in the direction that they are pointed into the brake arm, but I see no way of defining a constraint in this specific direction. I see options for a fixed geometry in the X, Y, or Z, but no option to specify my own direction. Is there any way to do this?
