Fusion Autodesk .nc file format issue

I have a Fusion 360, I had a designer make a CAM file .nc extension. He used Autocad and exported it as the .nc file.

The issue we have, is in conjunction with Fusion we use a CNC machine called Boxzy. Apparently, the .nc file from Autodesk is in the wrong format, exported from Fusion would be in the correct format. I am not sure why there is a difference, but what I would like to do is import the .nc file to Fusion, and then export the .nc file so that its in the correct format.

Unfortunately you cannot open a .NC file in Fusion 360. NC files only house the g-code for the machine to run - they do not contain all the CAM operations. 

Please refer to this article, which explains how to create machining operations in the CAM workspace of Fusion 360. To generate code for your machine, you will need to select the "boxzy.cps - Generic boXZY (GRBL)." This post processor will create the proper .NC format g-code file for use with your machine.

Can "boxzy.cps - Generic boXZY (GRBL)" be exported from Autodesk?

Or can I only get that from Fusion 360?

Because boxzy.cps is a post processor that creates g-code from the CAM operations you will set up in Fusion 360, you cannot export a part file in that format from AutoCAD. This is because the NC file is not the part design, but rather the means of communication between the CAM operations set up in Fusion and the machine that the cuts will be made on.

The boxzy.cps post processor can, however, be used with any Autodesk CAM program such as Fusion 360, Inventor HSM, and HSMworks.
