The program starts to open but does not finish. Memory consumption increases 20Gig. I tried a reinstallation but same thing happens

Hi @mark.lilley,

Thanks for posting your question in the Forum.

Here are a couple troubleshooting steps we can do to find the cause of the problem:

1. Could you may check the release date of your graphics driver? It might need to be updated with the link here:

    Nvidia / AMD

2. Could you may try to do the "clean uninstall" with the link here?

    https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

3. Would you may share your Log files with us?  We could analyze what happens in the background when Fusion 360 is launching.

How to manually collect the Log files is explained in the knowledge article here:

    https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

4. It would be great if you could share your system information with us as well.

    https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Obtaining-system-informa...

I hope this helps. Please, keep us updated.

Thanks,

Here is the detail that you requested. The uninstall and reinstall did not work this morning. A360 does not behave for the uninstall.

Fusion 360 was working in the morning and then stopped in the afternoon.

Here is a brief system report

The clean uninstall  and reinstall procedure worked. There were hidden files that I could not find in my first attempt that needed the terminal command for OS X. Fusion 360 is open.

I keep getting messages that A360 is not syncing. Separate issue probably.

Hi @mark.lilley,

Thank you for sharing the log files.

I could see that Fusion 360 is checking for the entitlement but I can´t find a current subscription.

Could you perhaps send me the email address you are using to sign into Fusion 360 via private message?

I can check on our side what could cause the problem.

Thanks,

How do I send to you a private message?

I also would like to repeat from an earlier post. The clean Uninstall procedure worked the second time. I could not see some hidden files during the first attempt. The OS X terminal command procedure was found in another troubleshooting method that was linked to th material that you supplied to me.
