Export Multiple Meshes to STL

Hello,

I had 80 STL files that I wanted to pack together compactly for 3D printing (and build a cage around them). I imported them with Insert/Insert Mesh, and arranged them (which took quite a while). Now I'm having some trouble figuring out how to export to a single STL. I have a bunch of Mesh objects under Bodies. I can right click one of them and Save as STL, but if I select more than one, it doesn't give me that option. Is there some way to do this?

Thanks!

Brian

Hi Brian!

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

Fusion 360 is equipped with two sets of translators. There's the typical local ones, file export &  save as STL command are examples of the local translators. There is also a set up cloud translators you can access in the cloud.

The below link goes into further detail about this topic.

If you use the export > STL option up on the cloud, it will export the entire design file out with the mesh bodies in it.

export stl from hub.png

I hope this suggestion helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
