Fusion 360 will not open at launch on Windows 10

I just downloaded Autodesk Fusion 360 and I have Windows 10. However, when I click the launcher it won't open and I haven't even gotten to set it up. Could it be a script probelm or something in my OS?

@Anonymous Moved this over to the Design & Doc forum as it gets a bit more traffic for these types of posts.  Unfortunate that you're running into these issues upon first launch, but we should be able to get you squared away.  I'm tracking down help and we'll circle back here hopefully this evening.

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.  Fusion 360 does run on Windows 10.  To rule out an installation issue can you send me (kris.berg@autodesk.com) your installation log.  To retrieve that file go to C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Autodesk using Windows Explorer and send me the file "autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log".  Let me know if you have any issues finding your log and I can provide more support.

Thank you,

Kris Berg

After I haven't used Fusion 360 for a few days to a week it pops up an error saying my OS is out of date.  I'm running Windows 10 and everything is up to date. I can still open the program through Windows explorer.

Solved it myself.  Something had changed the compatibility setting within the shortcuts properties making Fusion think I was running Vista.  I unchecked the "Run this program in compatibility mode" and problem solved.
