Fusion 360 website & Joint editing

I have two issues at the moment...

1) The Fusion 360 "Community" page on the website has never displayed properly, which prevents me from getting to the forum. In fact, I usually resort to using Google to find the forum since the web page is mostly obscured by a large blue bar. I have zoomed in and out, but the bar remains in the way of all clickable options. Unless there are no options on this page? In that case, how do I get to the forum from the time I sign in???

2) I have successfully created joints using the Assemble > Joint commands, which was incredibly difficult for some reason. I imported my Rhino file so I'm guessing this may be the cause. After an hour of frustration with all of my components being "grounded", I finally discovered a way to unground them. I should note that they were never grounded using the option to ground, this was never selected and to be sure, I imported them three different times. I resorted to converting them somehow, but since there is no history of my clicks I cannot find out exactly what I did.

So now I used the Joint command, but didn't get things aligned correctly. I want to adjust the joints, but this is not an editable function for some reason. Do I start over? I can't get the parts unjoined so I'm guessing Fusion wants me to start a new file? I tried the Joint command again and the error states it is already joined.

I watched several videos on this topic and none of them address these problems. I would much appreciate any insight.

Hey Jason - re: the community hub not rendering properly, would it be possible to get a screenshot?  Also, what browser (and version) are you using?

Thanks,

~Brian

This is how it looks unless I zoom out as far as possible.

Hi Jason,

Sorry to hear your having issues with joints.  Since it sounds like you have a couple different issues with joints would you be able record a video with the issues you are seeing, as well as share the file in question?  You could either upload it to the forums or email me directly.  This way I can understand exactly what you are trying to do and can hopefully offer some advice or recommendations on how best to approach things.

Cheers,

The problem is that the parts are permanently grounded even though I have not selected to ground them. My guess is that Fusion is not really designed to import files as importing files always causes multiple problems.
