Hello does some one can help me with this,    when you create a drawing,    If you want to have a 3d view  other than the proposed view like  NW SW NE SE.  I go in the Animation mode and  setup the view that I need , but when you try to transfer this view to your drawing, the view change  and never look like you expect,  It even show you parts that are not eaven active. What is the best way to do this,   So easy with SW !

Hello, Does someone know how to insert a a 3d view in the drawing,  it is fairly easy to do when you have a couple view like top, front side.

But if you create a special view in the animation mode and want to have this view in the drawing that was created from the design. it is not realy working for me does someone have a solution?

Hi @Anonymous,

it is possible to create drawing views from Named Views (3D model views).

Animation views are not currently supported.

Hope this helps

Hi,

The best way to have a view other than predefined views is to create a named view in the Model Workspace. You orbit the view to the position you want, launch New Named View command from the context menu of Named Views folder. When you create a new drawing, the new named view will be shown in the Base View dialog.

Hi,
sorry for the trouble you are having with creating views.
Is it possible to share the Fusion model?
(lucia.casu at autodesk).

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

we are not able to reproduce this issue.

Is it possible to share a dataset?

You can either share the link to the Fusion design (see below) or Export the design to your local disk with (File -> Export) and then attach it to this post or send it to

lucia.casu@autodesk.com

Thanks,

Here's a screencast I made a while ago to show how to setup a named view to use in a 2d drawing. Make sure you save the model after setting up the named view.

If you're still having trouble can you share your design or make a screencast.
