Fusion 360 running on Linux

My title may have misled you a bit but but I think you and others may find value here.

I spun-up a windows 10 workstation on Amazon. It was free to use and even if I had to pay the fee it would be worth it. The have a free tier available to anyone.

It is like running a remote desktop. The installation is intricate but easy.

Performance, good enough for me.

Last year I committed to end my use of windows and go to Linux/Ubuntu . It went perfectly except Fusion kept me going between PCs. Not any more.

I think this solves my problem with Windows only Fusion 360.  I have had a series of sub 100$ laptops for the last 5 years and my process is to pay 50$ for the same model Toshiba, xfer the harddrive and reboot (15 minutes and 50$) 64 bit, multiptocessor 4GB 2GzHz.

How about a little bit of a tutorial for users new to the Amazon remote desktop idea?  It's called AppStream 2,0, right?

edit:  No, you're talking about Amazon's Windows 10 workspace. AppStream is something different but also could be a possibility for Fusion...

Hmmm. That seems a bit pricey? Especially for a v-machine with a little horsepower. Is this really better than [dual] booting into Windows for Fusion? Or even tooling up a dedicated machine? Is this for full time business use? I'm curious about how the numbers work out for you.

The cost of 1 windows PC is 0$ storage
, memory is limited. But with the memory limitation the performance was
better than my pc.

See what you think and, please, post your experience.
