Fusion 360 mobile app for design and editing

Currently the Fusion 360 mobile app is for view and comment only. Is there a chance that eventually editing and design will be added to the mobile app? The browser version of Fusion is in preview. To me a logical transition here would be able to switch to browser functionality from the mobile app to make design tweaks and or start new designs. The browser is limited in features but having core design functions such as protrude, cut, sketch (line, circle, arc, rectangle), dimension, mirror, etc. is still a plus in starting a project or making small tweaks to an existing project on the go, and then switching to the desktop for final design intent along with manufacture, simulation, generative design, drawing, etc. once getting back to the office.

Any thoughts/comments Fusion team?

Thank you

Bryan

Hey bryan5,

There are no plans at this time to create a full version of F360 on mobile. Though it would be cool, it would also be a massive undertaking requiring resources that we feel are better utilized on developing the desktop and web applications.

I understand it would be a big undertaking.

The alternative I propose is the ability to use the Fusion 360 Browser version that already exists.

Make access to the Fusion 360 Browser version through the App. I think the only thing missing is having the browser version run on smart phones and tablets.

Thank you

If the Fusion team be willing to port it, I would be willing to put it through it's paces, and give feedback for on productivity and feasibility.

@jodom4  any chance to have the browser version to run on a smart phone browser? Would love to give it a shot if you were looking for testers to give feed back.

Thank you
