Hey LMD, the crashes you've been experiencing are very abnormal. Let's diagnose this problem: Please respond with the following information:
Operating system + version
System Specs
Graphics Diagnostic (under the help menu)
Also, please confirm that you have the most up-to-date version of Fusion 360? You can check by going to About Fusion 360 in the Help menu and giving us the build number.

Ludo,
Thank you for reporting this and nice machine specs!
How long are you leaving Fusion 360 open and running for? How much idle time between uses? Are you locking/hibernating the computer in-between uses?
It may be helpful to quit Fusion 360 down when you're not using the application.
Thanks,
Hello Nathan,
Yes, you are right, I tend to leave Fusion 360 running, even when not using the application.
I will shut down Fusion 360 between sessions and see if these random crashes get fewer.
Will get back to you in a while to report how it's going.
Many thanks for your reply and for looking at this.
Kindest regards,
Ludo
You are welcome! Thanks for confirming that the suggestion helped, I'm glad that it helped!
Thanks,
Hi,
You may also want to try a couple of other things to see if it helps without having to re-launch Fusion:
Under the "Username" Menu go to Preferences. In Preferences click on the Data Collection and Use entry. Uncheck the Desktop Analytics and Google Analytics options. Also, uncheck the "Use my cloud usage..." options.
Additionally, under the Graphics entry ensure the checkbox for "Limit effects when graphics memory is too low" is checked.
Regards, KpB
Hello Kevin,
Looked at the settings you mentioned, but they where already as you suggested.
Anyway, not keeping Fusion 360 open (idle) over a longer time, improved these random crashes a lot.
Over the next months I'm sure the Fusion 360 Team will identify and remove most of the stability issues.
Many thanks for your concern.
Best regards,
Ludo
Hello, I am experiencing the same issues and want to understand Why the Fusion 360 Team has not solved this issue. I leave my solid works or CatiaV5 running all the time and it doesn't crash my system out. Please tell me there is a fix for this !!
