Fusion 360 crashes within a few minutes after startup macbook pro

i've been unable to get fusion to run on my early 2011 macbook pro 13".

it fails every time at the app's startup. i click the fusion app in the dock, it bounces, the flash screen appears fine, then a black screnn comes up and it's followed by the error reporting screen.

i've uninstalled it and reinstalled a few times already and restarted my laptop. i'm running OSX 10.11.4

thanks for any help

troy

Hi Troy,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing the issue. I had a look at the error reports that you submitted. Are you using Fusion in proxy environment by any chance? If so, would you be able to try using Fusion in another location that doesn't use a proxy server (for example, from your home or a coffee shop)?

nope, no proxy.  just using it across my local wifi. it's an apple airport to a cable modem. i also have a 2011 imac on the wifi that runs fusion fine if that makes a difference

turns out, after taking on your proxy question again, i double checked my laptop's wifi settings. i found in the advanced > proxies tab it was checked to "configure proxies automatically". i think either some software of mine or maybe my girlfriend had checked that on for some reason. anyway, i unchecked it and applied the changes and now it loads. thanks for the suggestion.
