Fusion 360 Configurations Roadmap 2021
I see that you "liked" a reply I made in a thread from 2015 in respect to configurations. At the time I was very hopeful that we would have access to that feature set within the next 2-3 years. Apparently, that hopefulness was completely unfounded!
They're working on it but the feedback I've received just this week as to where they are in the development process was "very early". Given that I asked the same question 7 months ago and received that same answer, my guesstimate would be that we are at least a year, if not 2 years out before seeing an implementation.
I very much enjoy Fusion 360 for concept design and use it for this daily, but I have taken 2 more complex designs into another software that does offer configurations. This functionality is so essential to me that I am not willing to wait any longer.
