Font and svg text automatically convert into Arial font

Hi !

It's been 7 days since I have been trying to use one font to extrude it , and here is what I tried :

- installing OTTF file font direclty on my MBP then in the TEXT module choosing the font but doesn't work , the Arial font shows up instead of the one I want ( MUSEO 700 )

- Using illustrator to write it in the font I want then export the SVG file into Fusion , but there the font is also converted into ARIAL ,

Note that :

- the font is properly imported into fusion because when I go into drawings sheets the font can be used to modify measurements and text font of the sheets .

Have anybody bypassed this or is it just a problem of mine ?

OSX Capitan MBP 15" i7

Last version of fusion

Thanks for the help !

Hi Sonny,

The problem here is the Fusion rendering engine can't recognize the font. One workaround is you can type the text in Illustrator, then create outlines in Illustrator and save the file as SVG. By doing this, the text will be converted into curves and can be imported into in Fusion correctly.

Regards,

Richard

Still having this problem in 2020. What exactly does "can't recognize the font" mean? A TTF is a TTF.
