Flat pattern view in sheet metal drawing

Anonymous

Hello, this is my first post to the form. I have created a sheet metal bracket and added a flat pattern to the model. When I create a drawing for this part, I have no option of creating a flat view. The "reference", and " "representation" options are greyed out in the "drawing view". I read somewhere that under "representation" I should be able to pick flat pattern. Thanks for any ideas, Dave

Can you File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here that exhibits this behavior when creating the drawing.

Wow thanks for the fast response CADWhisperer. I just realized I created my sheet metal part inside an assembly instead of on its own. I didn't realize it, but now I see the Asy icon at the top of the model tree. I am just learning F360 so I'm making dumb mistakes. I made a quick test sheet metal part, and I see the option for flat view in drawings so I'm set. Sorry to waste your time, but thanks for responding!
