Fish fin design with rays and webbing

Hi, I'm trying to create a fish fin design similar to the design of this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1328056

The fin needs to arise off of a curved surface, and will likely eventually be at an angle to it. I was able to create rays and the surfaces of the webbing, but I couldn't stitch the webbing to the rays and make the whole thing manifold.  The stitch command either fails or severely deforms the surface.

Please note, when I say "web" it is the shape, not the "web" command in F360.

Thanks for the help

Is this what you are looking for?  You can adjust the thickness with the Thicken Command in the timeline.

Edit: I created the web as a new body, use the Combine command to combine it with the upright spikes if desired.

Thanks but not exactly. I did a surface loft from the red to the yellow, then a loft from blue to yellow. This created the hollow volume illustrated in purple. i am trying to stitch the bodies created by the surface loft  to the solid cones, making the purple region solid.

Yu cannot stitch surfaces to solid geometry.

The easiest way to do tis is the boundary fill feature in the "Solid-Create"menu.
