Find which sketches have USER PARAMETERS associated with dimensions or which sketches are associated with bodies.

Hi, I have a large design with a lot of components and a number of user parameters and I need to change the value of a parameter - unfortunately I created sketches then bodies then components - now I can't find the sketch associated with the body (bodies are still associated with components but not the sketch as far as I can see).  So I suppose the question is, can I find a sketch associated with a Component/Body or is there a way to find where User Parameters are used.  It would be nice if I could create a drawing and instead of showing dimensions in units I could display them in terms of User Parameters.

Thanks

Chris.

About the best you can do is to name your Components and then you will be able to identify the sketches, related to them, using the Parameter Table.  The Screencast will show what I mean.  Unfortunately, there is no method to jump to the sketch from the parameter table listing.

Thanks - yes I appreciate that the User parameters are located, but I want to find which sketches that are specifically used in. Regards. Chris

Thanks John, I have never noticed that the Model parameters could be opened. Regards. Chris.

Hi John - Another question - Do you know of any way to export the Parameters that include the information displayed on the Parameter Screen please?  I have tried the ParameterIO app but it does not give me the depth of information I would like/need.  I have looked at the code for ParameterIO but have never used Python and am not sure how to modify it.  The only way I can see to get the information is to do a lot of screen shots.  Thanks   Chris

Found how to turn it into a movie - saves lots of screen shots.
