Fillet on outer corner

Fillet on outer corner

I am trying to create a scallop/fillet on the outer edge of a shape.  I want it to look like a ball end mill went around the edge of the part.  When I select fillet, it only lets me create a round.  To figure this out, I tried creating this on a basic extruded rectangle and still could not get it to work.  Should I be using something else other than the Fillet to try and accomplish this?  Do I need to do something special with my geometry?

Thanks

Try using Pipe from the create menu, set it to Cut and select the edge.

Can you do a Sweep Cut with a circle?

Edit: or Pipe as suggested.

I tried the Sweep, but it will not go around the entire rectangle.  It only cuts out along the one edge that I select and it won't let me select any additional edges.

Can you File>Export and then Attach your actual *.f3d file here?

Did you try Pipe and hold the Ctrl key to select additional edges?

The Pipe works as long as the shape stays as a basic rectangle, but my shape has scallops out of the corners as well. See attached picture for what my part looks like.  The fillet I am trying to create will go along the outer edge of the part.

Here is the .f3d file.  I appreciate any help you can give me on this.

I fixed it up for you.  Smiley Wink

Hold the Ctrl key to select multiple edges for the path.

Thanks.  That is exactly what I wanted.  I thought I tried holding down the Ctrl (Command Key on my Mac) to select the additional edges, but must not have.
