Fill in shell to make a solid mesh

I will start by saying I am learning stage of fusion but could use some help with a project.  I have a mesh scan of an object.  I am trying to figure out how to make it solid.  I have watched a couple tutorials but can't seem to figure it out.  Any help would sure be appreciated.  the screenshot shows the area I am trying to fill.  I have also included the actual mesh file.

That's a pretty bad start into CAD. My recommendation would be to go through the free tutorials Autodesk has created to help new users here:

Meshes are NOT want CAD software (not just Fusion but any CAD software) uses to represent 3D geometry.

CAD software uses analytic geometry and NUBS surfaces usually stitched into a BRep to represent geometry.

As such you will find that meshes can be difficult to work with in Fusion.

 

That is particularly the case if you want to make it a solid body and work with it with Fusion's native solid modeling tools.

 

Once you have this "filled id" what do you want to do with the model?

I am going through the tutorials.  I will be 3d printing it to make a mold once I figure it out.

Are you using a paid, or a free subscription?

The paid subscription allows you to use the Organic mesh conversion, which would work well for this part.

The attached model shows the workflow.

If you use a free subscription, you can use a similar workflow in Autodesk Meshmixer, which is designed to work directly with triangulated meshes.

You can print it as it is. You don't need a solid.

I am using a free version currently but do have meshmixer and will give it a try.  I realize I can print it as is but structurally it won't hold up to the mold making process.

You will not get anywhere.  The mesh is poor quality.

The only real solution is to use the mesh only as reference in remodeling proper geometry from scratch.
