My suggestion is to introduce a feature that enables users to group various components of a product into a folder within the product tree. Similar to how a new product in product tree can control different components inside, users would be able to merge various components and perform basic commands like hiding with ease. This feature would be particularly helpful when working with products that contain a vast array of components and assemblies. The folder should possess standard functionalities, such as the ability to conceal or suppress its contents, enabling users to manage and organize components more efficiently.
