Hi

We are trying to sculpt the front of a car (Devin D). By now we've got the base shape pretty good. But we are struggling with the front wing in combination with the head lights. We've got a solution that kinda works. 😉 But sometimes we struggle with the "Thicken" function.

How should we sculpt it, that we get a better solution? Thanks for your hints. 🙂

What exact geometry is resisting thickening ?

I would not thicken in the form feature until completely satisfied with the overall shape.

Thank you for your reply.

With an earlier version we generated all the surfaces, stitched them together and then we were not able to thicken it to approx 1.5mm. Sometimes it accepted 1.2mm or even less.

From my point of view we have to rethink how we generate the sculpted parts. As you suggested earlier we now check the surfaces in Box Mode. 😉 We are happy about hints and links to similar problems and solutions.
