It looks like your originating mesh (before you converted to a brep body) had some issues. In the screen cast I show one location that had multiple faces overlapping each other, essistally occupying the same space, This is what's causing combine to fail.
try repairing the mesh file in something like mesh mixer first. You can probably repair it with just the automated inspector tool.
