Fail: Connect surfaces of sweeped coil (Stitch)

When i sweep a custom shape around a coil, it always splits the created thread in multiple surfaces (two of them highlited in blue in the image). This is a problem for me, because I can't use the press/pull tool anymore.

When I try to use the stitch command for surfaces, it gives an error.

A thread created with the built in thread command, always has all surfaces connected.

Why is that and how can it be made one surface (merged with the bolt)?

This would be important to use the "Press Pull" tool.

I want the thread surfaces to look like this (thread is metric, but just an example):

A .f3d file is attatched.

I did it, thanks to a video I found on youtube. It is a really strange workflow and not what i would have thought of.

Why would you need to use Press Pull?

Simply edit sketch.

Because I like to use it, to quickly to adjust some tolerances instead of changing my sketch. Of course it could be done with sketches, but I want to use the press pull.
