Hi, 

I'd like to ask some advice on how to create diamend facets. I get a sphere in sculpt environment first, and then used FACET command, but it gave me an error. I also tried to sketch on model environment but then I could not figure out how to make it into sphere shape. In what environment I should create gemstone?

Hi Batmunk2 (cool name BTW), Ron's link looks promising, but wanted to mention another method I'd be tempted to use for this.  The concept is illustrated in this thread:

and is a quick powerful way to make complex geometric shapes that it sounds like you're after.  To have the faces totally flush, you could make the joints on the outer edges or have the "face panels" be infinitesimal in thickness.
