Extrude to multiple planes from one sketch

Is it possible to extrude a line on different planes or do I need to create a separate sketch for each direction.

In the example, I am making an under desk holder. I created the lines and extrude to create the box. I would like to create the bottom lines also extruding up to create an end stop when pushing the box in.

Here is an example...

Extrusion direction is dependent on the plane the sketch was created on.  In this case your current sketch in on a plane that will cause the Extrusion to go parallel to the existing body.  The video will show a quick alternative using a Ruled Surface.  Model is attached.
