Extend display region of a construction plane

When one creates an offset plane parallel to a face (which lies arbitrarily within the space), the constructions plane is generally drawn "a bit larger" than the face. Most often this is exactly what one wants, but not always.

Is there a way to enlarge (or shrink) the display size of a construction plane? I want it to "extend over the full model".

Can't you simply drag the edges or corners of the workplane?

@TheCADWhispererHow? I don't seem to be able to do that.

Odd. Now it works. Not sure what I do differently though. Thanks.

Be sure your are trying to change the size of a Construction plane.  Then hover your cursor over an edge, to see the yellow line or over a corner to the the highlight dot, left click hold and drag to resize.

In case anyone finds this solution and is stuck (it took me ages to figure out why I wasn't getting the same result as @jhackney1972 in their helpful GIF): you just need to re-enable the 'Construction Geometry' selection filter. Go to Select > Selection Filters and ensure that 'Construction Geometry' is checked. Now you can freely resize the construction planes.

Honestly I didn't know this was possible until I saw @jhackney1972's GIF and then I was so confused why my version of 360 couldn't do it 😄
