Export STEP Files Error Message

When I atempt to export mu model as iges or step, it tells me I need to convert from tspline. I was pretty sure I already did this.

I also cannot select any part of the model to convert from tspline to solid body.

I simply need to export this model as iges or step for machining.

I see a solid body component in the menu on th eleft, but it does not appear to be associated with anything on my screen.

When I try to convert the bodies to solid, they appear to already be converted in the convert menu. It only gives me the option to select brep.

help appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for posting this question. What does the warning message state exactly when you are exporting? I know that we will warn about Sculpt (T-spline) bodies. These bodies are not exported by default. You would have to convert them first. If you have already converted, then you should be able to ignore the warning.

What does the resulting STEP file look like upon opening?

Thanks,

Thanks,

The warning says that t spline bodies must be converted before being exported to iges or step.
I didn’t realize that ignoring the warning and pressing ok would actually export it. It looks like it did export but I do not have software to read the file.
I will see if I can actually open the iges in f360.
Thanks, I will update.
