Export objects impossible with any tspline entities

I have some T-spline bodies I use to sculpt objects and then convert them to components.  I want to export the components but I'm not able to until there are no t-spline bodies left in the file.  This is a real nuisance.  I think I should be able to export selected to a file format besides .stl which is not useful for my purposes.

Have you tried opening the igs file after export. It looks like you get a warning because there are t-spines in the design but the converted bodies are exported OK from a quick test.

I can't get it to ever export at all.  When I try to export anything I'm stopped with the t splines issue.

I can't get past the error message that tells me to convert everything.

And after posting a link to the model I realize I'd already deleted all the tspline bodies so I could export.  F----!

All the fingers were converted into components from tspline models.  I suppose they could be converted back.  This is tiresome to say the least.

Thanks for your help.

When exported in its current form only the fingers are imported, but not the actual mouse panels.

When trying to convert these into surface bodies tire's an error hat needs to be fixed before the T-Splines can be converted and the the design as a while can be exported as a .step file, for example.

To get rid of that T-Spline error, my suggestion would be to switch into box mode as it is much easier to see self intersecting T-Spline geometry.

I am, not sure why you created the different sides/panels of the mouse as different T-Splines. You had almost perfect quad topology.

In the attached file I welded all vertices so not there's only one T-Spline body lefty and I removed the one triangle with clean quads.

You'll get the same nonsensical message that the T-Spline need to be converted, but if you' ve actually done that the entire model exports fine with the fingers and mouse.
