Export body with point in 3D space for use as datum
I am struggling to export my designed part with sketched points for use as datums.
I have sketched a point at the centre of a shaft. Tried exporting as STEP and IGES but when importing back into Fusion 360 (as well as other software packages) the created point is no longer there.
I created the point by first creating a midplane to section the shaft, then creating a sketch on this plane and sketching the point at the center. Any suggestions as to how to export this point?
