Exchange title blocks

Not applicable

I am trying to figure out a way to changed my older drawings (basic title blocks that came with Fusion) to the new title block I created that have better information and 'general tolerances.  I have the new title block in the Admin Project folder (root directory) but when I pull up the title block in sheet settings, I cannot select that specific title block.  I can only see/use the defaults from Fusion.  Am I missing something or can we still not change the 'template' drawing from within Fusion?

Hi,

If you want to reuse the custom title block every time then,

  1. Create a new template from File>>New Drawing template option.
  2. Customize the title block as per your need. Save the template.
  3. While creating new drawing, use this template in 'Template' option.
  4. This will create a new drawing with the title block which you saved in the template.

Let us know if you have any further query.

Thanks,

Yes, this is what I had done after creating about 30 prints using the old 'default' drawing title block.  I want to updated the old prints that used the default title blocks with the updated and new title block without having to redraw the 30+ prints.

Hi,

1. add new drawing & select a template \ with "your" title block.
2. activate the "old" drawing.
3. browser > settings > right click "change title block".
4. Select new title block
