educational licence, time limit of event simulation

Hi,

I've tried a few times to run an event simulation however I always faced with an error message when the overall simulation time was "too big" (1sec), though set to faster (3msec) shows breaking the part because of the impact. Also, it takes ages to finish an event simulation. I was wondering is it due to a limit for educational licence? I hardly can imagine it is acceptable for a company, who pays in the thousands range a year to have such a limitation, but I can understand it for educational. But I want to know is there any limit and what is it?

Can someone suggest a good settings principal to be able to run as long simulation as possible but reasonable results?

I can say for certain that we don't have any performance limitations specific to educational licenses. I would recommend editing your post to include an archive of your design, a screencast recording showing what you're trying to do and where the unexpected behavior occurs, and screenshots of settings and error messages. You'll be much more likely to get some help on the forum with more information.
