Edit Sketch Dimensions - Original Sketch Remains

Hope someone has come across this before or knows a quick fix.

When I go to edit a sketch, and change the dimension of a circle (by clicking on the dimension), the new dimension creates a new shape and the original sketch remains. It only occurs when I edit a circle.

Wondering if there is a a setting I can adjust so this doesn't happen. Thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks for describing the issue. I have tried to reproduce it but it is a bit tricky.

Here are couple things you can check:

1. Have you fully constrained your sketch that you can see a small red pin on the sketch icon?

2. Could you try to change the dimension in the "Change Parameter" window?

Could you may share some screen shots, maybe a screen cast? This would be very helpful for us?

Thanks for the suggestions but no luck unfortunately.  Attached is a screenshot of the circle I am trying to edit. When I change 6.25mm to 6.35mm, it just creates a second circle with the new dimension. Is the original possibly locked on the corners of the rectangles it crosses through?

Thank you for sharing the screen shot.

It is a bit tricky to figure out what actually causes the appearance of the new circle.

Could you may chech if  under "Preferences" and "Preview"  the option

"Sketch - Color sketch geometry based on constraint status" is activated?

If this is activated and your sketch is fully constraint all sketch entities will appear black.

Could you might convert a couple lines into a "Construction" line? 

It would be great if you could share a screen cast, maybe your design? This would be very helpful.
