I have a DWG file I have uploaded, but there seems to be no way to open it. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Please attach the DWG again, it does not seem like it made it to your post.

I am sorry to say, that site does not allow download unless I create an account, which I am not going to do.  You will need to find another way.

I washed the file through AutoCAD 2025 and received the message attached.  I went ahead and opened it and save as a different name.  I then tried to upload it to the Fusion Data Panel but it failed.  I have nothing else to try.  Sorry.

@maple15207

Do you have access to AutoCAD?

If you run the List command (LI) on the objects - what does AutoCAD report as the object types? (SOLIDS?).

So the issue you are having is the file itself is un-usable?

Hi! The 3rd-party dwg file is corrupted. I am able to use AutoCAD RECOVER command to salvage the file (see attached file). The geometry is extremely big and far away from the origin. I don't believe you can reuse the geometry for Fusion modeling purpose. I suggest you scale down the geometry and confine it within a box of +-100 meter in each X, Y, and Z direction.

Many thanks!
