Drawing Dimensions From Point on Curve - Incorrect Dimension Value Between Sketch Lines

Hi, I have a 3D model of a sculpture with curved elements over a dining tale. I want to show the outer dimensions, but the drawing dimension tool only snaps to green markers, and there are no green markers at the edges of my curved elements. I've worked around this by creating sketch lines and then dimensioning between them. But the dimensions they give are just plain wrong.

Note in the attached the table is 84" long, and the sculpture is 1.86" long. The table is 42" wide and the sculpture is 0.87" wide.

As a workaround, I projected the sculpture onto a sketch from the top view then measured the outer dimensions. It's 56" long and 26" wide. I then manually updated the dimensions in the drawing (just wrote over top of them) to correct the incorrect values. This is a shoddy workaround though, not a solution. It'd be great to know how to get F360 to auto dimension between the sketch lines properly. Thanks

Did you try using "Snaps" on your dimensions?

Can You share .f3d File..? 

File> Export> Type(.f3d)> Save to Local Drive, And attach it here...
