Hi hato54,
A Rotate transformation in the Animation workspace should work for the drawing view as well (see screencast for reference: http://autode.sk/1UFoVal).
If you would like this to happen for drawings created from the Model workspace, you could create custom named views to achieve a rotated view (apart from rotating the model itself).
Rotating views in the drawings is on our roadmap and should be available later this year. Until then, you could use the above methods. Please let us know if this works for you.
Thanks,
Krithika
Hi Håkan,
Sorry to hear you're facing issues with updating your existing drawing - that shouldn't happen. I gave this a quick try and it worked for me.
Could you share some more information on what you are seeing (dimensions lose associativity with the view / Error dialog / ...)? A screenshot would be helpful. We'll look into the issue as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Krithika
Hi hato54,
Thanks for reporting this. I'm still having difficulties reproducing this. If this happens again, it would be of great help to us if you could share your file with us.
Please inform us if you encounter this again.
Thanks,
Krithika
I still have that problem even after restarting the computer.
Unfortunate can I not send these files because the belong to my customer.
I have 10 parts and one assembly, then a make a animation of the assembly file and make a exploded drawing.
The drawing is ok and also the part list.
Then if I have to change one of the parts I do that and update the assembly file, save it and then update the drawing file.
The parts will update ok but I got some errors in the exploded drawing. Some part are moved and not the same angle as before.
Then if I make a complete new drawing from the assembly file everything is ok. It seems to be something wrong using the update function.
Be aware of that I used a rotate and transform in the "animation mode" before a made the drawing.
Could the be the problem?
I have to test this
