drawing airfoils

I'm trying to find a way to import airfoils into Fusion. I tried reading in csv files to import splines, but this created a lot of problems as there are hundreds of xy-coordinates. I then tried drawing the airfoil in another program, and then importing an SVG file into Fusion. I projected the imported graphic onto a component, but there were problems with push/pull as I tried to remove sections from the airfoil.

Can anyone suggest the best way to import these kind of shapes.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you tried this:

https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=1569210467479959341&appLang=en&os=Win64

Cheers / Ben

Unfortunately, I don’t need a NACA airfoil, I need an AG airfoil. I can generate a csv file of the coordinates, or an SVG graphics file.

Thanks anyway,

If you create a screencast, I'll be able to see where the problem is.
