Does Fusion 360 automatically update?

Does Fusion 360 automatically update? I don't see any obvious information about this on the site. I'm curious because my version number is 2.0.2604 and Finder reports the app as last modified on on 12 December:

However, there was a blog post dated 14 December for What's New: http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/blog/december-14-2016-update-whats-new/ and it doesn't list a version number—in fact, none of the What's New entries have listed a version number since mid-October. So I'm not sure if I have the latest version. Does the app auto-update? Was that article written about and regarding a release that happened before the 12th? How can I be sure Fusion 360 is up to date?

Hi @TheCADWhisperer. Can you address my other questions? A "yes" by itself is not that helpful.

@jsejcksn

Yes it autoupdates as long as your connected to the cloud in the app. As far as how can you tell if your running the latest version, I'm not sure it is listed anywhere. I'm current with 2.0.2604.

Edit: it shows current version at the top of this thread:

I work in a Windows environment.

On my personal machine a get a little black note glyph in upper right corner of Fusion interface whenever an update is in progress.

On machines that I use that are locked - I get a pop-up notice that newer version is available whenever I start Fusion.
