Disappearing history marker

Since the Nov 9 update, the disappearing history marker bug should be fixed. But it wasn't.

So the history marker already disappears if the user uses a large screen, has also a long timeline and makes the dashboard invisible.

Please tell me, what is the state for that bug?

I can confirm that this was not fixed!

I model in this thread shows even more odd behavior and this also seems to be just a visibility bug.

Below is the same video I have embedded in the other thread:

Hi all,

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I checked the status of the defect (FUS-27040) and it seems like the development team is still working on this. I'm not sure when we can release a fix at this moment but I'll circle back here once I have more information to share.

Hi,

I had the same problem before. just after an update.
Later the history marker got back.
But now after the latest update (19jan 2017) the history marker is gone again.
Is there a way to get it back?

regards,

Joost

How many years, threads, surveys and users you really need to get this fixed? What is the purpose of history when timeline marker disappears in every project which get a tad bit bigger. Are you guys using Solidworks so this is not really an issue for you? Fusion360 is simply broken and it should be still in the alpha state until that gets fixed.

I just lost the history marker, in 2019. Happened before at least once.

Big screen (4K on Mac, seems pretty normal nowadays?) and an edge-to-edge timeline.

1. What's the status of named FUS-27040 ?

2. Is there a workaround that does not involve restarting Fusion 360?

3. How can we push this higher in the priorities? It's ... annoying when the horse looses its saddle.
