Disassembling Components

Hi,

I wanted to practice assembling components, when go to "Assemblies" in Basic Training, the samples I opened are already assembled. I disassemble all the components by moving them one by one. But after they kind of bonded to each other. I can't move them individually as in the training videos.

Is there a way to open these examples as disassembled? Or if I have to do it myself, after moving all the components, what do I have to do so they are like they have never been assembled so I can move them easily by just selecting and dragging.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

In Fusion, "Joints" are the things that position and define motion for an assembly.  So, to "disassemble" a design, you need to remove all the joints.  Here is a quick screencast using one of the sample assemblies:
