New to Fusion 360. Making first simple profile sketch of the handle of a screwdriver to learn sketching, dimensioning, and adding constraints. Blade will be to the left. Handle butt is to the right. Profile will be revolved to create handle.
Dimensioning the profile to match the small screwdriver handle. Width dimension of 5.5 mm added. Barrel section of handle is now, as sketched, about 12.6 mm. This needs to be increased. I have tried to change this dimension, expecting the added length to extend to the right. Instead, it extends to the left. Trying to constrain the left point of the dimensioned line, does extend the line length to the right, but the lower right point is, apparently, constrained not to move. This appears to be an example of a hidden constraint. My expectation is that everything should "stretch" or "contract" relative to the origin. This is not happening. Please explain what I am doing wrong. Thank you.
Not having the cursor coordinates displayed is not helpful, especially with the adaptive grid changes with zoom.
