Dimensioning a bolt circle ??

I need to learn how to make a drawing...  I am attempting to create a drawing for manufacturing but need some help on how to dimension a bolt circle.  Also I am not sure how to open the attached archive file.  The screen capture is from A360 and it placed DETAIL A in the wrong position, kinda weird.  I printed a PDF and it is correct.

Anyway I need some assistance on dimensioning a Bolt Circle.

THanks

Use Fusion's data panel to upload the FZ3 file, if you use the dashboard it will just upload the file without converting it to a Fusion design.

As for the bold circle, I don't think that's implemented yet.

Ok I will have to try the upload as you have suggested.

Is there a way to sketch a circle in the drawing and then I can just add a leader and text?

I appreciate it!!

No there aren't and drawing tools in the 2d workspace. About the only workaround I can think of for your example would be to create a cylinder behind the body you have. Make it a long way back so it doesn't show in the side view.

Hi Tommy,

Unfortunately, currently we can't apply/dimension to a bolt circle in the drawing, you're going to have to spell it out in the hole callout, 3X #10-32 UNF 2B TAP THRU Spaced evenly on x.xx DIA. B.C.  The ability to do this is on our roadmap, but timing is TBD.

The issue with your detail view getting shifted in the output DWG is a bug, and this should be fixed in the next update.

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks Mark,

I did what you suggested and it works but sure is kind of a hassle.  I am surprised this was not looked at in the beginning being this is an Autodesk product.  Anyway thanks for the help.
