Dimension Lines Missing - Bug or Can it be done differently?

Hi All,

Sometimes with linear / aligned dimensions some of the lines don't appear on the drawing ("Iso style" if it matters). See below. On one dimension both dimension lines are there and on others ther's a line missing. See attached example.

As an aside, why can distances between arcs be dimensioned in 3D model sketches but can't easily be dimensioned in drawings?
