Design issue

Why all of a sudden when I try to design in modeling does it bring up Sketch?! I'm trying to create solids/bodies not Sketches! So why when selecting Box, the Sketch menus show and the Body options go away...  I don't know what setting got tripped. Please help!

3d models are created from sketches. The primitive shapes, box, cylinder, etc. are not very robust and generally should be avoided.

Do you have UI Preview checked on the Preview Tab of the Preferences dialog box?   Toggling it might just restore something recognizable.
