Hello, I’m currently doing the ‘Introduction to Mechanical Engineering Design and Manufacturing with Fusion

360’ course however I’m struggling with the first design challenge (attached below).

If someone could please send a step-by-step explanation of how to do it, I would be very grateful.

Thank you very much.

Welcome to the Community.  Can you share some more information about the class you are taking, or a link to the site?

Have you started the exercise?  Maybe you could share what you have done so far for others to take a look at.

Hi,

I would strongly recommend that you do the embedded tutorials in the Fusion Documentation and also some of the

Self-Paced Learning to help you to learn fusion faster and better. They can be found here:

It is also much easier for the forum to help you if you attach your file AND a screenshot of what you want to achieve

and what the problem is. You can create a file to export like this:

Time spent on the tutorials and self paced learning will not be wasted. Also check out the three RULES that are pinned to the forum for further guidance.

Cheers

It looks like where you are struggling is with Shell.  @etfrench is there a way in Fusion to select faces that you not want to include in the Shell command?  Am I seeing the problem right?

I can't access the site to see the individual instructions.

You can select multiple faces in Shell which should entirely remove those faces.
