Good morning,

I am at the stage of desining a decal for  a handheld device. I am trying to look at various forum on how to do this in fusion 360 but without success.

Has anyone been succesful ?

In particular, I would like to add text for the various I/O , pictograms and company logo. (so import png/jpeg files)

Export for the art work file should be JPEG, PDF or DXF

Hi,

Are you trying to use Fusion to design your decal or import your decal into Fusion?

If you are trying to use Fusion to create your Decal then simply take a Snip of the finished product from the

screen and save it as a jpeg. <CTRL> <Windows> (or <Mac>) and press <s> to bring up Snip then paste it into

Paint 3d.

If you are trying to import the decal into Fusion:

Then resize, or better yet Calibrate, and move it onto the surface of your model.

I am trying to use fusion to design my decal, I am not sure if this is doable though,

the sticker will have cutouts made for push buttons, LEDs, etc. and I need to add labels.
As the position of the label is dependent of the cutout position (driven by the PCB layout), I am exploring a "All-In-One" design, so that any update of the cutouts is reflected on the decal.

Hi,

This design will be doable but you will be limited by what Fusion can actually do. The shapes and such will be ok

but any colours and textures might not be what you want.

The draw it and take a screenshot method might work best or for something with exact dimensions you might be

better importing the design into the drawings mode of Fusion and creating a pdf then doing the Snip and export.

Cheers
