referring your answer in this topic to a question from rcollnis50v @rcollins50v from feb 2020 . He is right, I also searching to this symbols. I find no possibility to describe this fundamental issue in a technical drawing. For me point of view it is a technical standard and a must to have this symbol in the general symbol library of form and positional tolerances.
It might no be a "rocket point" to implement this in a professional program like FUSION 360 .
I would be very glad to get an answer form AUTODESK. Thanks a lot
Bump - I need to add datum targets to a drawing as well as hatched areas to show where they apply, and Fusion can do neither. This is basic functionality, please add it!
Have you guys considered using the "Sketch Symbol" feature at all? I've created a bunch of symbols that are part of my standard drawing template to fill in for stuff that Fusion doesn't currently have (like flag notes, "CF" symbol, etc.)
Good suggestion Scott - it shouldn't be needed for standard symbols, but I used it to create the datum target symbol and it works OK, once I figured out that %%C creates the diameter symbol that I needed
