Cutting/Shaping Concave surface

Trying to Combine/Cut in the interior concave surface with another highpoly object but Fusion wont let me make that command.

Af first "sight" I'd suggest to use Meshmixer.

Yes, it is an .STL. I've done the usual from various tutorials. "Do Not Capture Design History", Import Mesh, Mesh to BRep. Tried projecting using various choices, but that doesn't seem to want to do as I like. Doesn't allow me to use the baseball as the cutting tool.

There is an easy option. Use Meshmixer.

 

.stl is NOT a CAD format. Fusiosn 360 is a CAD software.

It's not exactly the level of precision I was looking for, but thank you. I've manage to get it to work in Meshmixer, though I've no idea if anything is centered properly.

By definition triangulated meshes are not precise. Such meshes have a finite resolution. If you have access to the original quad mesh this object might have been modeled with then that opens up options in Fusion 360.
