Unrelated to the thread topic - but I wanted to get this to someone because it's not really a "feature" request. Feels like something else.
I'm looking for a very specific type of threading. As I've talked of in this thread, my design is very industrial and significant in size - so this type of threading is not traditional among what is most commonly used.
I've attached a technical document which explains it. It's classified as a self-cleaning thread and is used in larger industrial applications like mine. I have overcome this by using a coil and wrapping a cylinder and using a boole to cut the shape. It is however, largely a guess and has to be tweaked every time I do it, and makes working the nuts just as difficult.
It would be another element to just remove a few steps on my end. I'm probably the only one that'd use this - but I have a feeling that there will be more folks like myself finding this program very usable in the industrial and construction world like I do.
