Curved connection between two bodies?

So I have two bodies already connected. How can I smoothen out the connection so it becomes nice and curved along the long pipe?

Ugly ConnectionUgly ConnectionIt seems that "loft" is not the correct tool for it. Is it even possible in Fusion 360?

EDIT:

Loft with a circle in the middle of the pipe looks somehow OK I think.

Kind regards

Are you attempting to replicate the stl?

I was just measuring few things. I don't want to re-model it 1:1. And how did you solve it?

The way @TheCADWhisperer modeled it it looks like the next thing would be to apply a fillet.

You can also do this with lofting but it's a bit more complicated and provides a different result.

Ended up with lofting. Looks decent enough 😉

No, it does not. Come on MAN, take it to the next level and challenge yourself!

Create a smooth transition and find a solution to eliminate the sharp age left by filleting the bolt hole.

Well the bolt holes are sharp on purpose.

Which transition should be smoother in your opinion? And any hints on how to do it?

EDIT:
Moar fillets 😉

In the model you've attached there is no access from the bottom to insert a bolt. IN your later models that seems to have been addressed. Did you move the bolthole further away from the cylinder ?

Not 100% sure what you are asking. I'll just attach the end result.

This is what I meant with "challenge yourself".

It was more complicated than I had thought and I had to experiment.

I worked with the geometry in your design and change the workflow you had a little.

Then I went into the Patch workspace and cut this apart to be able to loft in the patch workspace.

I would probably design this with a different workflow to simplify the timeline if I'd start from scratch.

However, this is just to show what can be done with such objects in Fusion 360.

You could also explore modeling the base body as a T-Spline.

This looks amazing. I took a peek at the f3d file. It'll take some time before I understand what's going on, I have no idea what half of the tools you used are used for 😉 Very cool, thank you!
